Bhubaneswar, Aug. 6 -- In a shocking incident, a final-year Plus III student allegedly set herself on fire inside her home in Kathiapada village under Pattamundai block in Odisha's coastal Kendrapara district this morning.
The incident occurred while her parents were away.
According to reports, the victim's parents found the house locked from the inside upon their return from a hospital visit.
Despite repeated calls, their daughter did not respond. Suspecting foul play, the father broke open the door and discovered his daughter lying inside, completely charred.
