Bhubaneswar, Sept. 11 -- The Odisha government has urged all banks to improve the credit-to-GSDP ratio in line with the state's growth and job creation targets for 2036 and 2047, as outlined in the vision document.

Addressing the 180th State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC) meeting here today, State Development Commissioner Anu Garg highlighted the need to channel credit towards housing, education, MSMEs, agriculture, and allied sectors.

She also called on partner banks-including SBI, PNB, UBI, UCO, BOI, and BOB-to open CSP Plus outlets in all remaining unbanked Gram Panchayats by September 30 and to closely monitor their performance within the stipulated timeline.
