Bhubaneswar, March 5 -- Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Thursday inaugurated the "Go-Homestay" portal, a significant step toward promoting community-led tourism in the state .
The launch coincided with the "Odisha Homestay Workshop," aimed at raising awareness among stakeholders and implementing the "Odisha Homestay Scheme 2025."Speaking at the event, the Deputy Chief Minister highlighted that homestays are more than just accommodation-they serve as gateways to Odisha's vibrant culture, traditions, and renowned hospitality.
She explained that the Go-Homestay portal will ensure transparency, accessibility, and ease of business for aspiring homestay owners while generating livelihood opportunities at the grassroots level.
