Bhubaneswar, Aug. 21 -- Odisha has emerged as the best-performing state in fund utilization under the Watershed Development Component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) 2.0.
The state secured the top rank with 83 percent of the allocated funds utilized since the inception of the project. The scheme, which runs from FY 2021-22 to 2025-26, has a total outlay of Rs.759.27 crore, shared in a 60:40 ratio between the Centre and the State.
The achievement came to light during a review meeting of WDC-PMKSY 2.0 projects across all states and the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
