Bhubaneswar, June 25 -- The Odisha Government is set to revise the Odisha Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy 2021 with an aim to promote green mobility, reduce carbon emissions, and transform the state into a model EV ecosystem in the country.

In a significant move, the Commerce & Transport Department and the Energy Department of the Government of Odisha jointly organized a high-level brainstorming session today to deliberate on the proposed Odisha EV Policy 2.0.

The meeting, co-chaired by Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary of Commerce & Transport, and Vishal Kumar Dev, Principal Secretary of Energy, focused on accelerating Odisha's electric mobility transition and achieving key targets under the revised policy.
