Bhubaneswar, May 17 -- The Odisha government is set to launch a campaign-mode registration drive to bring all private ambulance services under a unified and standardized framework.
The initiative aims to create a verified database, streamline enforcement, and enable the efficient, real-time deployment of private ambulances across the state.
The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary of the Commerce & Transport Department, with the goal of enhancing emergency medical transport services in Odisha.
