Odisha to emerge as an Electronics System Design & Manufacturing Hub: Minister

Bhubaneswar, June 5 -- Odisha is poised to create a conducive ecosystem to emerge as a competitive IT and Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) hub, State Electronics and Information Technology Minister Mukesh Mahaling said on Thursday.

Addressing a workshop on the preparation of the 'Odisha IT/ITES Roadmap,' Mahaling stated that the state government aims to promote innovation and create countless employment opportunities by implementing an AI policy and adopting a new IT policy.

He highlighted that Odisha is the first state in the country to implement an AI policy, which will support AI startups in flourishing and provide vast employment opportunities for local youth.
