Odisha to develop Jackfruit clusters under PPP Mode with Maharashtra firm

Bhubaneswar, Oct. 10 -- The Odisha government has decided to develop jackfruit clusters under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode with processing facilities, in collaboration with Maharashtra-based JackfruitKing Agro Producer Company Ltd.

JackfruitKing Agro Producer Company Ltd. Chairman Mithilesh Desai met Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment K. V. Singh Deo to discuss jackfruit cultivation and processing opportunities in the state.

Principal Secretary, DA & FE, Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Director of Horticulture Kalunge Gorakh Waman, and other senior officials also attended the meeting.
