Bhubaneswar, Dec. 24 -- The Odisha government will develop a major Economic Region encompassing Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, and Paradeep, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced on Wednesday.
Presiding over a high-level meeting, the Chief Minister said the strategic inclusion of Paradeep Port would act as a catalyst for rapid industrial expansion across the region.
The proposed Economic Region is expected to drive growth in sectors such as agriculture and fisheries, manufacturing, transport, port-based industries, chemicals, textiles, information technology, and tourism.
