Bhubaneswar, Feb. 6 -- In an effort to reconnect people with Odisha's rich traditions, heritage and linguistic roots, the Odisha Government will observe "Odia Pakhya" across the state from April 1 (Odisha Day) to April 14 (Odia New Year).
The fortnight-long celebration will feature a series of cultural, literary and community-based programmes with active public participation at the grassroots level.
A preparatory meeting for the statewide celebration was held in Bhubaneswar under the chairmanship of Odia Language, Literature and Culture Minister Suryabanshi Suraj.
