Bhubaneswar, May 15 -- Odisha Deputy Chief Minister K V Singh Deo said the state will soon bring EV policy to strengthen the infrastructure for the construction of EV stations for charging electric vehicles throughout the state.
Singh Deo on Wednesday said India has become a leading country in the field of renewable energy under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Odisha's contribution to this is increasing significantly, he said, adding that to move forward with the goal of a Viksit Odisha, we have to increase the use of green energy and renewable energy.
Official sources said Sarvotech company made a presentation on solar power generation and construction of EV stations in the state before the Deputy Chief Minister .
