Bhubaneswar, Feb. 25 -- Seven talented terracotta artisans from Odisha have rewritten history by breaking previous world records in a grand display of craftsmanship and speed.

The landmark achievement took place at the "Grand Terracotta Artwork Creation" competition, organized by the Department of Handloom, Handicraft, and Handicrafts, setting a new benchmark for the art form.

Official sources confirmed that the event not only produced two new entries in the World Book of Records but also set a record for the highest number of participants, with 1,000 terracotta artists taking part.
