Bhubaneswar, Dec. 23 -- : The Tribal Advisory Council on Tuesday recommended that the Odisha government promote eco-tourism and expand tribal home-stays in tribal areas. The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, emphasised the importance of maintaining the Record of Rights in both Odia and English for Scheduled Tribe communities.
Additionally, the State Council of Science, Technology, and Research for Tribal Research and Training Institute (SCSTRTI) was instructed to conduct a comprehensive study to include more communities in the ST list and submit recommendations at the next council meeting.
