Bhubaneswar, Oct. 14 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today announced that the state's second Regional Plant Resource Centre (RPRC) will be established at Sanaghagara in Keonjhar district.
The proposed centre, a brainchild of the Chief Minister, will be developed over approximately 134 acres and will focus on biodiversity conservation, eco-tourism, research, and education. It will serve as a community hub promoting environmental awareness and nature-based learning.
Visitors will experience a variety of natural and thematic gardens showcasing orchids native to Odisha, as well as roses, bamboo, cactus, and wild fruits, adding to the area's scenic beauty.
