Bhubaneswar, Feb. 19 -- The industry sector in Odisha is projected to grow at 8.3 percent, significantly higher than the national average of 7 percent, according to the Odisha Economic Survey 2025-26 tabled in the State Assembly on Thursday.

The survey reflects the state's strong industrial momentum, backed by robust manufacturing growth, major investment inflows, and sustained infrastructure expansion.

In 2025-26, the industry sector contributed 41.3 percent to Odisha's Gross State Value Added (GSVA) at current prices, amounting to approximately Rs 3.6 lakh crore. At constant prices, the sector recorded a growth rate of 6.4 percent, largely driven by expansion in manufacturing activities.
