Bhubaneswar, Sept. 24 -- Odisha has conducted 52,952 health camps across the state, recording a footfall of 28.46 lakhs beneficiaries under the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan as of September 23.

The nationwide health initiative was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17 at Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.

In Odisha, Governor Haribabu Kambhampati and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi jointly launched the campaign at the IDCO Exhibition Ground in Bhubaneswar on the same day, marking the start of an intensive health outreach drive across the state.

Official sources said more than 8,000 facility-level camps are being organised daily across districts, ensuring accessible screening and healthcare for all.
