Bhubaneswar, Sept. 19 -- Odisha registered an industrial growth rate of 6.1 percent during 2024-25, State Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain informed the Assembly today.

Replying to a written query from Congress legislator Dhruba Charan Sahu, the Minister cited the Odisha Economic Survey, which noted the state's industrial growth at 1.4 percent in 2020-21, 12.1 percent in 2021-22, 6.1 percent in 2022-23, and 8.7 percent in 2023-24.

Highlighting investment interest, the Minister said 191 MoUs were signed with various organisations between January and September 2025.
