Bhubaneswar, March 14 -- Odisha's Director General of Police, Y B Khurania, has reaffirmed the state police's commitment to creating a more child-friendly system across Odisha.

Speaking at a discussion titled "Juvantika - Digital Rights and Child Safety" on Saturday at the Police Bhavan, organized jointly by Odisha Police and UNICEF, Khurania highlighted key initiatives to protect children in both physical and digital spaces.

He announced that "Friendly Corners," designated child-friendly spaces, have been upgraded in 71 police stations across the state.

Addressing cyber risks faced by children, the DGP noted the establishment of 20 new cyber police stations to enhance cybersecurity awareness.
