Bhubaneswar, Sept. 29 -- To curb illegal storage, unauthorized transportation, and unlawful sale of explosives and firecrackers, Odisha Police has launched a special statewide drive named 'Agni', seizing explosives worth over Rs 8.24 crore across the state.
The drive, conducted from September 14 to 27 under the direction of DGP YB Khurania has significantly disrupted illegal networks engaged in the unsafe trade of firecrackers and explosives, police sources said.
