Bhubaneswar, Sept. 22 -- Odisha is set to benefit substantially from the next-generation GST reforms, which will also open new opportunities for the state's youth, state BJP president Manmohan Samal said today.
Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister on behalf of the people of Odisha, Samal stated that the reforms will lead to a significant increase in the incomes of crores of farmers.
Over 15 lakh kendu leaf collectors and their families are expected to be economically empowered, while Odisha's tourism industry will witness a revolutionary transformation, generating extensive employment opportunities.
Samal further noted that with the removal of the coal cess and adjustments in GST rates, the state's revenue will see a boost.
