Bhubaneswar, Sept. 19 -- Odisha has become the first state in India to formally adopt the Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM) framework, aligning its statistical practices with internationally recognised standards.

As part of the transformation, the state has launched the National Data Archive (NADA), creating a seamless system for data storage, access, and analysis-empowering citizens, researchers, and policymakers alike.

Odisha has also pioneered Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) software for collecting Price Statistics data, marking another first in the country.
