Bhubaneswar, Dec. 12 -- The Odisha government has directed regional chief conservators of forests to proactively address ongoing and upcoming forest diversion requirements for major infrastructure projects of NHAI, Railways, industries, private mining firms, and other key sectors.

During a review of forest diversion progress for priority projects, the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Forest, instructed officials to accord top priority to these proposals and expedite their processing. He emphasized the need for timely clearance of pending issues at the field level.

Nodal Officers have been tasked with continuous monitoring, facilitation, and ensuring compliance at every stage to prevent avoidable delays.
