Bhubaneswar, July 2 -- The Odisha government is formulating a climate-resilient strategy as part of its efforts to achieve the net zero carbon target by reducing carbon emissions and promoting the adoption of renewable energy sources.

"We are on the verge of transitioning from conventional energy to renewable sources such as solar power, pumped storage projects (PSPs), and other forms of green energy," said Deputy Chief Minister K.V. Singh Deo while chairing a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Energy Ministers' Conclave, which will be held in Odisha later this year.
