Bhubaneswar, Oct. 28 -- The Odisha Energy Department has taken extensive precautionary measures to safeguard power infrastructure and ensure uninterrupted electricity supply as Cyclone 'Montha' approaches the state.
According to official sources, preventive maintenance has been completed at all primary and distribution substations (33 KV/11 KV lines), while adequate stocks of critical equipment such as transformers, poles, and conductors have been secured in advance.
