Bhubaneswar, Dec. 11 -- Odisha Housing and Urban Development Minister Krishna Chandra Mohapatra on Thursday called on citizens, SHGs, voluntary groups, educational institutions and organisations to join Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation's (BMC) expanding green mission.
Speaking at a massive tree plantation drive organised at the Temporary Transit Shelter (TTS) near Sainik School, he highlighted BMC's initiative to develop dense urban forests across the city using scientific methods. Over 1,000 saplings were planted during the event.
