Bhubaneswar, Dec. 16 -- The District & Sessions court at Padampur in Odisha's Bargarh district sentenced a man to undergo life imprisonment for committing the murder of an 11-year-old boy about three-and-a-half-year back.
The convict Rastra Barik, a resident of Kendmundi village under Sohela police station limits, was found guilty under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sentenced to Rigorous Imprisonment for life with a fine of Rs 25,000, in default of payment, the convict shall undergo additional Rigorous Imprisonment for six months.
