Bhubaneswar, May 1 -- Sahajog, an initiative by the Housing & Urban Development (H&UD) Department of the Odisha Government, was launched on Thursday to enable the urban poor to access benefits under various government social sector schemes.

Odisha Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra launched the scheme at a state-level event.

Sahajog is the first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at identifying eligible beneficiaries from urban poor communities and linking them to appropriate schemes by raising mass awareness and delivering services at their doorstep.
