Bhubaneswar, Dec. 1 -- Odisha's IT Policy 2025, aligned with the state's long-term vision for 2036 and 2047, aims to create one million employment opportunities during the policy period, Electronics & Information Technology Minister Mukesh Mahaling informed the State Assembly on Monday.
Responding to a question from Congress MLA Sagar Charan Das, the Minister said the policy has been designed with a comprehensive framework to ensure effective implementation and monitoring. It incorporates a clear vision, measurable objectives, and strong governance mechanisms.
Mahaling said the policy will promote emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Cyber security, and Blockchain.
