Bhubaneswar, April 29 -- Odisha has introduced a magic book (Jadu pedi) for small children as per the New Education Policy 2020. This kit ,prepared by the NCERT ,will be provided to children of Sishu Batika, first and second class. Official sources said Rs.20,000 has been spent on each kit which will be distributed to 45,000 schools in the state and at a total cost of Rs.90 crore Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi himself saw the Jadupedi intended for children in Shishu Batika at Lok Seva Bhawan and inquired about its usefulness for children. Commissioner of Schools and Public Education Department and Administrative Secretary Shalini Pandit informed the Chief Minister about the various items inside the Jadupedi.
