Bhubaneshwar, Dec. 2 -- In a step towards ensuring public health safety, the State's Health and Family Welfare department has intensified the state-wide drive against illegal sale of medical termination of pregnancy (MTP) kits, misuse of abortion pills and unsafe self-medication.
The drugs control directorate has been asked to adopt a zero-tolerance approach and strictly crackdown unsafe and unregulated abortion activities, said a senior official of the Health department today.
