Bhubaneswar, March 1 -- People in Odisha will no longer have to pay for the treatment and vaccination of cows, bulls, buffaloes, goats, and sheep, as the state government has announced a waiver of user fees for livestock healthcare.
The proposal to waive the user fee for livestock treatment was approved by State Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Minister, Gokulananda Mallick.
Mallick stated that this step has been taken to ensure the protection of livestock and the provision of veterinary care.
The decision to waive the user fee will come into effect across the state from March 1 this year, he said.
