Bhubaneswar, Aug. 21 -- The Odisha Government has directed all officers of the Agriculture and Farmers' Empowerment Department to join their assigned postings by August 31, 2025, failing which they will face disciplinary action, including stoppage of salary.
In a notification issued today, Principal Secretary Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee expressed serious concern over delays in officers assuming their new roles after promotion or transfer.
He stressed that government orders must be implemented without delay or exception.
The directive clearly states that officers failing to join their respective postings by the deadline will not have their salaries drawn from their previous establishments.
