Bhubaneswar, Sept. 16 -- The Odisha government has initiated steps to implement the Angikaar 2025 campaign under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban (PMAY-U 2.0), which is being observed nationwide until October 31.
Principal Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Usha Padhee, has directed all District Collectors to organize district-level anchor events and ward-level outreach programmes to ensure the campaign's success.
As part of the initiative, PMAY-U Awas Diwas will be celebrated on September 17, 2025. On the same occasion, PM Awas Mela Shehri (Phase I) will be held at the district level to mark the first anniversary of PMAY-U 2.0.
