Bhubaneswar, Dec. 12 -- The Odisha Government has agreed to consider a series of major proposals submitted by former National Monuments Authority (NMA) Chairman Prof. Kishor Basa and Er. Ashok Basa, Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO).
The proposals focus on cultural preservation, tribal development, and long-term water security in the state.
At a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, the state administration directed concerned departments to study the recommendations and initiate appropriate follow-up action, particularly in heritage conservation, tourism promotion, tribal welfare, and water resource management.
