Bhubaneswar, Feb. 5 -- The Odisha government will implement the National Deworming Day (NDD) along with the Vitamin A Supplementation Programme in February.
Official sources stated on Wednesday that the objective of NDD is to deworm all preschool and school-age children between 1 to 19 years biannually through schools and Anganwadi centers.
This initiative aims to improve their overall health, nutritional status, access to education, and quality of life.
The deworming programme in Odisha will also include women of reproductive age (20-24 years) during February 2025.
