Bhubaneswar, May 23 -- The Odisha government has decided to constitute a committee under the chairmanship of State Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari to address the issues concerning the Kotia group of villages in Koraput district.

The decision was made during a meeting held on Thursday night, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

The meeting was convened to give focused attention to the Kotia Gram Panchayat, located in Pottangi block, and formulate an administrative mechanism aimed at resolving the challenges faced by the local population.

Under this new mechanism, various departments currently delivering services independently will be brought together under a unified structure.
