Bhubaneswar, July 10 -- The Odisha government has initiated swift and coordinated measures to ensure the uninterrupted movement of essential commodities as the indefinite strike by the Odisha Drivers' Federation entered its third day today with no resolution in sight.
In particular, the Commerce and Transport Department is focused on maintaining a steady and reliable supply of petroleum products across the state.
A high-level review meeting was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena to assess the situation on the ground and formulate a coordinated response to avoid disruptions to the state's supply chain network.
