Bhubaneswar, June 4 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday reaffirmed the state government's commitment to making land administration modern and people oriented.
"No one in Odisha will remain landless," he said, adding that even those who own less than four decimals of land will be considered landless and will be provided with land by the government.
Speaking at the State Revenue Officers' Conference and Workshop here, Majhi highlighted the crucial role of revenue officers in implementing this initiative effectively.
Describing Tehsildars as the backbone of revenue administration, the Chief Minister urged them to listen to the grievances of the people and address them promptly.
