Bhubaneswar, May 9 -- Amid mounting public outrage and intensified Opposition attacks over the Balianta mob lynching case, Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan today said the government had adopted a tough stance against all those involved in the brutal killing of a Government Railway Police (GRP) constable on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.

The minister assured the victim's family that stringent action would be taken against every person connected with the incident.

Meanwhile, police arrested six more persons today for their alleged involvement in the lynching of GRP constable Soumya Ranjan Swain, taking the total number of arrests in the case to 11.
