Bhubaneswar, Sept. 10 -- The Odisha government today launched a statewide campaign titled 'Jeevan Zindabad' to prevent suicides and promote a positive outlook on life.
Marking World Suicide Prevention Day, the state government emphasized the importance of mental strength, awareness, and community support.
Citizens were urged to take a pledge to overcome challenges, love life, and collectively spread social awareness on suicide prevention.
Taking to his social media handle, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi wrote: "Life is precious, suicide is not a solution." He appealed to the public, particularly the youth, to value life as a priceless gift.
