Bhubaneswar, Nov. 15 -- Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Saturday called upon the Indian Menopause Society to spearhead a nationwide campaign to help all sections of society better understand menopause.

Addressing the East Zone Menopause Conference (EZIMSCON 2025), hosted by the Odisha Menopause Society in collaboration with the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Odisha (AOGO), the Governor said menopause should not be viewed as an ending, but as a new phase of life marked by strength, wisdom and purpose.

He noted that menopause is a natural biological transition experienced by all women, yet it remains a topic often avoided due to stigma, silence and limited awareness.
