Bhubaneswar, Aug. 23 -- Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati today urged government officials to adopt a humanitarian and empathetic approach while implementing welfare schemes for tribal communities.

The Governor made this appeal during a day-long interaction with field-level officials of the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, and the Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department at Raj Bhavan.

The meeting was attended by ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Minister Nityanand Gond, Forest, Environment & Climate Change Minister Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia, along with senior officials of the concerned departments.
