Bhubaneswar, Nov. 3 -- Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati today expressed concern over the widespread prevalence of anaemia among adolescent girls and emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups and nutritional awareness.
Dr. Kambhampati launched a special two-month Raj Bhavan initiative aimed at promoting healthy dietary habits and combating anaemia at Capital Girls' High School, Unit-II, BhubaneswarAs part of the programme, students were served beetroot-carrot juice and peanut chikki made with jaggery.
Under this initiative, the schoolgirls will receive these nutritious items daily for the next two months.
