Bhubaneswar, April 30 -- Odisha Deputy Chief Minister K. V. Singh Deo, who also holds the Agriculture portfolio, on Wednesday launched the findings of the Comprehensive Rice Fallow Management (CRFM) programme.
The CRFM programme aims to promote the cultivation of pulses and oilseeds on post-monsoon (Rabi season) rice fallow lands across the state.
Launching the programme, Singh Deo stated, "Odisha is committed to a data-driven, inclusive agricultural transformation pathway."
He emphasized that evaluations of this nature will help the department make informed decisions that strengthen rural livelihoods and support farmers.
