Bhubaneswar, March 26 -- The Lakhpati Didi initiative has transformed the lives of over 10 lakh Self-Help Group (SHG) members in Odisha.
According to an official release here on Wednesday, Odisha has achieved a significant milestone by creating one million Lakhpati Didis across rural areas of the state.
"These are not just numbers but a testament to the determination, resilience, and talent of our rural women, particularly those from remote and tribal areas," the release said.
"Our approach to women's economic empowerment goes beyond financial aid. It includes extensive capacity building, skill enhancement, financial literacy, and market linkages," it added.
