Bhubaneswar, April 4 -- Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee President Bhakta Charan Das has urged the Ministry of Water Resources to immediately revoke the recent decision on sharing the waters of the Bansadhara River between Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the media, Das stated that although nearly three-fourths of the Bansadhara River's catchment area lies within Odisha, the water has been allocated equally between the two states in a 50:50 ratio.
He described this arrangement as unfair and said it has placed the state government in a difficult position.
