Bhubaneswar, Sept. 3 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda for approving admission of 100 MBBS seats each in two medical colleges of the state.
Majhi said it is a matter of great joy for Odisha that the admission process for 100 MBBS seats each has been allowed at Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College, Talcher and Phulbani Government Medical College, Kandhamal, starting from the academic year 2025-26.
The Chief Minister described the decision as a historic step that will not only expand opportunities in medical education but also strengthen healthcare services across Odisha, particularly in Talcher and Kandhamal.
