Bhubaneswar, Feb. 17 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday presented a revenue surplus Rs.2,90,000 crore budget for 2025-26 in the Assembly.

Majhi said special thrust has been given on transformative sectors like infrastructure, urban development, agriculture ,irrigation, capital investment, port led development and sports for all.

The capital outlay in 2025-26 is Rs.65,012 crore which his 6.11 percent of the GSDP, the Chief Minister said and claimed that the proportion of Capital expenditure in Odisha to total budget is the highest among all major states in the country.
