Bhubaneswar, Sept. 24 -- On the occasion of the upcoming Durga Puja, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has directed that all government employees receive their September salaries in advance, on September 26.
Normally, salaries are disbursed on the last working day of the month. However, since government offices across the state will remain closed from September 27 for the Puja holidays, the payment date has been advanced.
