Bhubaneswar, Nov. 29 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday has tabled Supplementary provision of Rs.17,440 crore for 2025-26 in the Legislative Assembly for approval.
A sum of Rs 3,389 crore has been earmarked for Administrative expenditure, Rs 13,716 crore for Programme Expenditure, Rs 171 crore for Disaster Response Funds, and Rs 164 crore for Transfers from State.
The Chief Minister said the Supplementary Budget is aimed at fulfilling the requirement for funds for public welfare and developmental activities in the State, mainly through reallocation of available resources and receipt of tied-up resources from various sources.
